Our extended family is small, and we have had some significant losses in recent years, which has also taught me to appreciate and prioritize spending time with people and not take time together for granted. I feel most like myself when I am with my friends and others, it helps me relax.

Mazer Traditions
One of my favorite traditions my family has is the annual tradition on Christmas morning of making lettuja, Finnish pancakes. My mom makes them in a cast iron pan that my great-great grandfather made by hand back in Finland. I love the significance and history in this one tradition. I can remember making them with my grandfather when I was younger and hearing all the stories.

He follows me everywhere I go and will cry for me whenever I come home or go downstairs. I also have two dogs who are very playful. For as long as I can remember I have always cared very deeply for animals. My cat's name is Mykonos (Myko for short) named after Mykonos Greece where many cats were coming up to us and pushed us to get a cat when we got home. My dogs' names are Wailea and Minot. Minot is named after a lighthouse/ beach in Scituite, where my mother grew up. This lighthouse flashes 143 which means I love you. This has been an important meaning in my family, my mother, brother, and I got it tattooted on us.
